Derek Michael 16

Derek is a Junior and loves how his schedule turned out. He will continue in band, drama and yearbook and is taking US History, English and Algebra II

Derek continues to be involved with the youth praise band at church. He is the sound guy, which he just loves. He was in charge of sound and lights at Kirstin's Hi-Stepper Spring Show the last two years and at her Christmas and Spring recital. He did a marvelous job. Derek also has started helping on Sunday mornings during our first church service in the sound booth. This is his first love--working with sound.

Derek went to Camp78 with the seventh and eighth graders from our church and ran the sound for that. He was also the video camera guy. He does a good job.

Derek and Doug finished putting up the fence so we have a place for the llamas.

Our church has sponsored a Hispanic church and their music is lead by a group of brothers that have a band. Well, they have asked Derek to do sound for them when the play. The went to a camp and Midland to play over the summer.
